Job Title: In-Flight Training Manager

Job Summary: The In-Flight Training Manager is responsible for overseeing the training and development of flight attendants, ensuring that they are well-prepared to handle a variety of situations in-flight. The In-Flight Training Manager develops and implements training programs, conducts training sessions, and evaluates the performance of flight attendants during training and on-the-job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update training programs for flight attendants, including initial training, recurrent training, and specialized training for specific routes or types of aircraft

  • Manage a team of trainers and other training personnel, ensuring that they have the resources and support they need to deliver high-quality training programs
  • Monitor the performance of flight attendants on the job, and identify areas where additional training or coaching may be needed to improve their performance
  • Develop and maintain training records and other documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as education, aviation management, or a related discipline
  • Several years of experience as a flight attendant, including experience in a leadership or training role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals, including flight attendants, trainers, and other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of regulatory and industry standards for in-flight operations and training, including FAA regulations and airline policies and procedures
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs, including experience with classroom instruction, hands-on training, and simulations
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Office or training software applications
