Title: In-Flight Standards Manager

Job Summary: An In-Flight Standards Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining the standards and procedures for in-flight operations. This role involves collaborating with other departments, managing a team of trainers, and ensuring compliance with company and FAA regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement in-flight standards and procedures to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company policies
  • Manage a team of in-flight trainers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency in operations, policies, and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits of in-flight operations to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures
  • Develop and implement training programs for flight attendants and other in-flight personnel
  • Continuously review and update training materials to ensure they are up to date with changing regulations and best practices
  • Develop and implement safety initiatives and programs to enhance safety culture among in-flight personnel
  • Ensure that in-flight personnel are properly trained in emergency procedures, including evacuation, firefighting, and medical emergencies
  • Participate in investigations of incidents or accidents to identify opportunities for improvement in policies, procedures, and training
  • Analyze data and feedback from passengers, flight attendants, and other personnel to identify areas for improvement in in-flight operations and services

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in the airline industry, with a focus on in-flight operations and safety
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and guidelines related to in-flight operations and safety
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team of trainers and collaborate with other departments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with personnel at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations and make sound decisions quickly
  • Flexibility to work varied and sometimes long hours, including weekends and holidays.
