Title: In-Flight Services Manager

Job Summary: An In-Flight Services Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the in-flight services provided to passengers, such as food and beverage service, cabin cleanliness, and overall passenger comfort. This role involves managing a team of flight attendants and coordinating with other departments to ensure a smooth and enjoyable flight experience for passengers.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the in-flight services team, including flight attendants and catering personnel
  • Coordinate with the catering department to ensure the availability of appropriate food and beverages for each flight
  • Ensure compliance with all FAA and company regulations and guidelines, including those related to passenger safety, security, and comfort
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all in-flight services and supplies, and report any issues or discrepancies to the appropriate department
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve the quality of in-flight services and passenger experience
  • Manage the onboard inventory of supplies and equipment, and oversee the ordering and restocking of these items as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and operations, to ensure the smooth operation of each flight
  • Address passenger complaints and resolve any issues related to in-flight services
  • Ensure that all in-flight services team members are properly trained and prepared for each flight

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in the airline industry, with a focus on in-flight services and passenger experience
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team of individuals with varying roles and responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with passengers, team members, and other departments
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and guidelines related to passenger safety, security, and comfort
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations and make sound decisions quickly
  • Flexibility to work varied and sometimes long hours, including weekends and holidays.
