Job Title: Flight Attendant

Job Summary: The Flight Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers during flights. This includes conducting pre-flight safety checks, providing excellent customer service, and responding to in-flight emergencies. The Flight Attendant will work closely with other crew members to ensure that all flight operations are conducted efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-flight safety checks, including inspecting the cabin for cleanliness and safety hazards.
  • Greet passengers, assist with stowing carry-on luggage, and provide safety instructions.
  • Ensure passengers are seated and secured safely for takeoff and landing.
  • Serve food and beverages to passengers, following all safety guidelines and dietary restrictions.
  • Respond to passenger requests and provide excellent customer service throughout the flight.
  • Monitor the cabin during the flight, identifying and responding to potential safety hazards or issues.
  • Respond to in-flight emergencies, such as medical emergencies, security threats, or equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintain accurate records of passenger and crew activity, including inventory of onboard supplies and equipment.
  • Conduct post-flight safety checks and assist with passenger disembarkation.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of passengers and crew members.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations, including emergencies and turbulence.
  • Physical ability to meet the requirements of the job, including the ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, and proficiency in other languages may be an advantage.
